Fed's Kugler Sees Inflation as More Pressing Tariff Issue

Federal Reserve Governor Adriana Kugler expects there to be a “consequential” impact from President Donald Trump’s tariffs, but sees the trade policy currently having more pressing implications for inflation than for economic growth. Kugler spoke during a question-and-answer session Monday at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
