According to CME's "FedWatch": The probability of the Fed keeping rates unchanged in May is 99.4% (up from 95.3% before the release), with a 0.6% chance of a 25 basis point rate cut. The probability of the Fed maintaining rates unchanged by June is 53.8%, with a 45.9% chance of a cumulative 25 basis point rate cut, and a 0.3% probability of a cumulative 50 basis point rate cut.
